- Personal identifiers, such as name, surname, ID number, contact information, nationality and bank details

- Current physical address
- Work contact information and salary information
- Next of kin information
- Previous rental information
- Income and expenses
How we get the personal information and what we use is for:
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
- Assisting with Finance Pre approval
- Assisting with the sale of a property
- Assisting with the purchase of a property
- Assisting with the value of a property
- Marketing: We will provide you with market related information regarding, but not limited to property values and industry trends. You hereby grant us permission to enter your information onto our CRM database.
We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

- Communicate requested information to a third party (such as attorneys & bond originators), distributing nationally as well as internationally, in accordance with services as requested by the client.
- In order to accurately comply with a client’s instructions and needs of the agreement (such as arranging compliance certificates).
- To comply with FICA legislation.

In terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), the justification ground which we base our processing on consist out of the following:

We keep your information for 5 years. We will then dispose your information by shredding / metro- filing.
Your data protection rights:
- You are entitled to access your personal data by sending a written request to TIADOR 150cc t/a RE/MAX INDEPENDENT PROPERTIES. We may charge you a fee for this service.
- You may also request V to correct or supplement any of your personal data which TIADOR 150cc t/a RE/MAX INDEPENDENT PROPERTIES will undertake as soon as practicable.
